Hey there, I’m J. With a background in tech, marketing, startups, and SaaS businesses, I understand the mechanics of what makes for top-tier experiences that both delight users and satisfy business objectives.
For the past 12 years, I’ve been applying design thinking to projects ranging from user interface design to conversion-led websites for the likes of Xero, RedBalloon, Karbon, AKQA, and Hat Media. Web and mobile technologies have always been an interest of mine, and I enjoy exploring what is possible for my clients.
I believe that thoughtful, strategic design is a powerful differentiator in a digital landscape that is evolving at breakneck speed. A particular passion of mine is helping startup and scale-up businesses elevate their experiences—helping them appear more established than they are, while growing brand trust and equity in the process. I do this by combining aesthetic sensibility, a deep thoughtfulness for the user experience, and my broad technical knowledge.
Outside of design, I am the co-founder of a live music brand, bringing in some of the finest techno DJ talent from Australia and the world.
