ANZ Worldline Payments - bill payments form on an iPad.

Background

ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions—a joint venture between ANZ and Europe's leading payment provider Worldline—engaged me via Glider to help with optimising their bill payments experience. Drawing on my expertise in reducing friction, I designed an intuitive, device-agnostic flow that streamlined collections and significantly reduced abandonment rates, driving revenue growth for merchants.

Considerations

  • Collecting payments should be as frictionless as possible to mitigate users abandoning the flow, which can affect the merchants' bottom line.
  • Copy should be succinct and clear to keep cognitive load to a minimum.
  • Iconography should help communicate what is being asked at a given step.
  • The default design should reflect and respect the ANZ Worldline brand guidelines through colour, copy, and form field style.
  • For custom solutions, the payments flow maybe integrate the merchant's own brand accent.
